MEET YOUR TEACHERS!

Ms. Epstein

Hi! I'm Ms. Epstein â€‹and I grew up in Long Island, NY and currently live in Manhattan. I attended Dartmouth College where I studied Government and Education. I currently attend Relay Graduate School of Education and am working towards a Master's degree. I love learning about history and am so excited to work with and learn from from my scholars this year! Outside of school, I love to kickbox, dance, read, and cheer on the New York Jets.

Mr. Makepeace

Hi! I'm Andy Makepeace and I grew up in Waterford, CT and currently live in the Bronx. I studied history and anthropology at the University of Connecticut. I taught English as a second language for two years in East Java, Indonesia, and that was one of the best experiences of my life. I am very excited to be teaching U.S. History here at HSS, and equally excited to be working with such a great group of scholars this year. Outside of school, I love to draw, paint, spend time with friends and family, and go hiking.
